XBOX Browser
What is XBOX Browser?
Ever want to turn A backed-up game on your xbox's
hard-drive into a .iso so you can burn it, but you hate
doing it step by step. With XBOX Browser this process is
stream lined into a few simple clicks then u simply sit
back and wait.
How to make it work?
First off you will want to set up all your preferences in
the control panel. Most of which you can find from your
xbox's setting or info page. Then press refresh button.
This should bring up a list of folders (game folder) that
are in the directory you set in the preference panel.
Select the desired folders to download (using shift to
select more than one) and then press download. The program
will then download and makes iso's out of the folders you
selected. If you want to burn one of these you can chose to
use "Disk Utility" (Applications ~> Utilities ~> Disk
Utility) or use my program's built in burning support. If
you use my program simply drop the iso on the burn drop
zone in my application main window. This will load the
terminal which will prompt you to answer some questions.
With any luck you should have yourself a backup xbox game
:D
Trouble Shooting
Question 1: Is you xbox modded? If it's not then this
program has no hope at all. You will need to first have to
get an ftp server running on your xbox via softmod or chip.
Need help doing this? Xbox-scene.com is a big help :D
Question 2: Are you using firewalls. You will need to turn
them off in order for my program to operate properly.
Question 3: Are your using Evox, Avalaunch or some other
dashboard with limited ftp support? Try using "basic
commands" instead of "optimized commands". It's slower but
it should work.
Tips & Tricks
-TOAST 6 WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BURN THESE IMAGES. YOU MUST
USE DISK UTILITY OR THE IN APP BURNER.
-By holding down the shift key you can select more than one
item at once. This can allow you to copy as many games as
you like so you don't have to keep going back to the
computer telling it what it's next step is.
Don't use XBOX Browser to copy games illegally. The author
of this program, Kendall Hopkins, can not be held
accountable for any legal offense or damage done by use of
XBOX Browser.
